About Me

Hi, I'm Chris Perettie - a 23-year-old finance graduate and a self-taught developer passionate about building practical automated solutions to manual problems. I specialize in creating small-scale artificial intelligence, automated platforms, financial analysis, competitor forecasting, and business finance. I enjoy trying to bridge the gap between traditional corporate finance and new modern automation technologies in an area where I can bring innovation and create a meaningful impact. My work is often fueled by my curiosity. Whether I am making an automated tool, analyzing financial systems, or experimenting with AI workflows, I focus on turning those ideas into fully functional working projects. Most of my projects are fueled by my drive for Curiosity, Creativity, and Challenges, which every project should have! Most of my projects come from one, if not all, of these 3 C's and motivate and inspire me about them. Some projects are work-related, others are passion experiments for hobbies I enjoy but want to do more professionally and automatically.

Hobbies

For my hobbies, I love to play video games, DND, skiing, biking, hiking, and rock climbing. I also try to find ways and tools to help me make these tasks easier and remind me of good times of when to do them. I especially love Skiing in Tahoe during the winter, since I grew up doing it when I was 5 and still love to do it to this day.

While working, I have contributed to several impactful operational and analytical initiatives. I have consolidated 20 independent spreadsheets into a single automated dashboard that dynamically refreshes itself, saving 20+ hours a month alone. I have figured out how Power Automate Cloud Workflows function to automatically sync, refresh, extract, transfer, move, and sort SharePoint Data.

I have also designed a program that automatically populates empty hospitalization data by pulling it from NetSuite, sorting it, fact-checking it, and compiling it into a formatted sheet and dashboard. This significantly improved efficiency and accuracy, since it was previously fully manual. Additionally, I conducted competitor analysis and evaluations to check how we would be valued compared to them. This also eventually helped Arcellx sell their company 3 months after my contract expired.

Lastly, I actively supported all company culture and events by always actively participating in community events, charity events, cancer awareness, and fun company events like a Halloween dress-up party competition!
